We are spending two months in Germany. Our primary purpose is to learn the German language, and we will be attending a total immersion class five days a week for six weeks.
Why are we learning German? We believe that Jesus has invited us to join him in what he is doing in Germany. A major step in responding to Jesus is for us to learn the language well enough to be able to talk and pray with the many people who speak little or no English. We’ve gone as far as Rosetta Stone can take us, and now we need some hands on training and practice.
We are also going to Germany because we want to meet new people and make new friends and experience a new culture. We also plan to tour around Germany.
